Now, sashay away, Corona…

Nervous about having to lip sync for your life against Miss Corona? Rest assured! We take the safety of our patients and staff very seriously and are prepared to take any necessary steps recommended by the The Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other agencies, including Austin Public Health.

As of March 5, 2020, COVID-19, commonly known as Coronavirus, poses a low risk to the general public. However, our medical team will continue to closely monitor the outbreak and will adjust our approach as conditions change. As a sexual health clinic, it is not within our scope to manage patients showing signs of Coronavirus. If you’re experiencing symptoms related to Coronavirus, we will kindly refer you out to your primary care provider or the local public health department for further evaluation. However, there are some things you can do to stay healthy.

Here’s how you can kick Corona off the runway and stay healthy:

Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds, as if you’re scrubbing the lube off after sex. (That’s 40 seconds for silicone.)

Cough or sneeze into your fan, not ON your fans…like a fabulous queen, henny.

No mask 4 masc, or whatever you call yourself.  A mask is not effective. Leave those for our providers, bruh.

As a reminder, our tele-health service, TeleKind, is available to patients who are unable to attend their appointments. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to your patient advocate or give our Patient Support Center a call at 1-833-We-R-Kind (1-833-937-5463).
