Dr. David Wright:

Medical Director at our Koenig location, Dr. Wright is a longtime leader in HIV care across Central Texas. His commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care has shaped countless lives and strengthened communities.

Tim Young:

A dedicated advocate and leader, Tim Young has advanced support for HIV organizations across Texas through the Hill Country Ride for AIDS and played a key role in establishing Texas Health Action as a nonprofit.

Guest FAQs

What is the event schedule for the evening?
  • 6:00 PM – Registration & Cocktail Hour Begin
    Guests are encouraged to arrive at 6:00 PM to allow plenty of time for registration, settling in, enjoying cocktails, and mingling before the ballroom opens.
  • 7:00 PM – Ballroom Opens
  • 7:30 PM – Program & Dinner Service Begins
  • 9:00 PM – Afterparty Begins

Attire: Summer Cocktail

Light, polished, and comfortable. Think breathable fabrics like linen or cotton: dresses, skirts, or jumpsuits, and button-downs or polos paired with slacks or dressy pants. Suit jackets are welcome but not required, and ties are optional. Dress shoes, loafers, or clean sneakers all work. No tux needed!

Event Time: 6:00–10:00 PM

The event will take place in the Congressional Ballroom on the 3rd floor of the hotel. Guests may access the ballroom by elevator or escalator from the main lobby level. Event signage and volunteers will be available to assist with directions.

Valet and self-parking are available at the Fairmont Austin Hotel; however, availability may vary due to hotel and downtown event activity.

For the easiest arrival experience, we recommend using rideshare services such as Uber or Lyft, or utilizing nearby public parking garages.

Yes! An after party will immediately follow the event beginning around 9:00 PM on the same floor as the Congressional Ballroom. Guests are invited to continue the celebration with us following the program.

Proceeds and donations from the event support Texas Health Action and the Kind Patient Assistance Program (KPAP), helping remove barriers to care for patients and expanding access to essential health services.

We will be accepting:

  • One-time donations
  • Pledges
  • Other giving commitments

Donations can be made in multiple ways during the event, and our team will gladly work with guests to accommodate preferred giving methods.
