For the past decade, Kind Clinic has been at the forefront of providing culturally affirming, high-quality healthcare to the LGBTQIA+ community and people living with HIV. In this special episode of Navigaytion, we celebrate this milestone with a fun and engaging look back at our journey through a Kind Clinic Pop Quiz!
A Decade of Dedication
Since its founding, Kind Clinic has been committed to breaking barriers in healthcare access, creating spaces where queer people can receive affirming care without judgment. What started as the Austin PrEP Access Project (APAP) has evolved into a statewide leader in sexual health, offering services that include PrEP and PEP, HIV care, STI testing and treatment, gender-affirming care, and more.
To showcase the depth of our expertise and the impact we’ve made over the past ten years, Navigaytion Episode 4 features a friendly competition among some of Kind Clinic’s longtime team members. Joining us are:
- Christopher Hamilton (he/him) – CEO of Texas Health Action and Kind Clinic
- Steven Tamayo (he/him) – Director of Community Health
- Arthur Landin (he/him) – Clinical Experience Specialist
The Ultimate Kind Clinic Pop Quiz
In this episode, Christopher, Steven, and Arthur put their knowledge to the test in a series of interactive challenges designed to highlight key moments in Kind Clinic’s history.
Some of the quiz questions include:
- Service Evolution Timeline: In what order did Kind Clinic’s core services become available?
- Safe-Sex Campaigns: Which of these awareness campaigns was actually launched by Kind Clinic?
- What’s in the Box? Participants blindly feel an object commonly found in the clinic and try to guess what it is!
Through these playful challenges, we aim to educate our audience on the incredible work Kind Clinic has done while reinforcing our commitment to providing expert, affirming care.
