Kind Clinic’s Reaction to Election Results

Tomorrow is election day. If you are registered, able, and have not yet voted, please go vote.  The people we serve rely on the healthcare we provide which is impacted by elected leaders at all levels, national to local. Regardless of the results, we know that we will have to stand up for our rights and for our healthcare.

As a 501 c 3 non-profit organization, we cannot take partisan positions, endorse candidates, or be involved in political campaigns. We can urge you to stay informed – understand the positions of candidates on healthcare and how that will impact the pursuit of health justice.

Make no mistake, regardless of who the winners are in this election, we still have a struggle ahead for health justice. We will still have to work to change the course of the negative health outcomes that affect LGBTQIA+ people and people impacted by HIV differently than others.

Our struggle for health justice is not one of resistance, or even persistence, but of perseverance. We will advance ahead in the face of any challenges and difficulties before us. We will remain passionately focused on providing high quality healthcare in a safe and supportive environment and tenaciously keep at our core our expertise in serving LGBQTIA+ people and people impacted by HIV.
