National Nurses Week is May 6-12, 2020. Join us in recognizing our amazing nurse practitioners who continue to provide our essential sexual health services day in and day out for our communities. Your dedication and resilience inspires us all!
Be a part of the celebration by downloading a full-color or black and white (color it yourself!) “Thank You for Being Kind” sign for your window. Once your sign is hanging up in your home, share a selfie with your sign using the hashtag #NationalNursesWeek.

Steve
Alma mater: Bachelor of Science in Nursing: Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California; Masters of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner: The University of Texas at Austin. (Hook’em!); I also have a non-nursing degree from Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State).
Hobbies: Gardening, seeing lots of live music, cooking with friends, home projects, reading under the trees at Barton Springs, and biking around town searching for tacos are a big part of how I spent my pre-pandemic life
Stay-at-home indulgences: I’m binging all of the shows I’ve been putting off. I’ve watched Game of Thrones in its entirety, got up to date on Westworld, and have started True Detective. I’m also offsetting the stress of sheltering in place by seeking out silly comedy series and rewatching a lot of quirky shows; Letterkenny and Archer are nightly opportunities to create some endorphins through laughter!
WH
Alma mater: BSN and MS: Texas Tech University; Doctorate and FNP: Gonzaga University
Hobbies: I am a big sports and music person. I love playing basketball and football as well as watching most sports. I enjoy going to concerts and musicals with friends. Food is also a mainstay– Love trying new restaurants in the Austin and San Antonio areas.
Stay-at-home indulgences: During the shelter-at-home orders, I have been playing my Xbox more than I have in a long time: FIFA, NBA2K20, etc. I have been getting into doing these virtual home work outs (I don’t know if that is an indulgence lol).
